Default Carving replica Case Pocket Knives

I'm wanting to carve a replica Case pocket knife for someone for Christmas (this year hopefully!) and would welcome suggestions or hints, as well as advice on whether or not to try to make a blade or two that hinges in and out. Are there any books or has someone else tried this successfully. All ideas and advice welcomed. ??? ???

Default Re: Carving replica Case Pocket Knives

I saw plans for a folding pocketknife (large wall hanging) but can't think where, I believe it was woodcraft. If not it must of been Cherry Tree, Winfield, or Wildwood, they are all scroll saw magazines....sorry couldn't be of more help.
