Default Carving in North Carolina

I will be working in Durham, North Carolina for the next six months and was wanting to know of interesting places to visit in that area.

Do they have Woodcraft stores? Then I'll be okay.

Raleigh and Durham both have clubs also. You can find info at the Woodcraft store. There's great decoy carving near the coast. North Carolina is also the home of David Boone and Tom Wolfe - both CCA members.

I realize it is at the west end of the state, but well worth the drive.
Check out the 'Special Events' if you will be there 6 months.
The Fall Festival is really interesting, and the carving courses are usually pretty good.
