Default Carving must be good for the body and soul...

I came across these two holiday articles about "young" carvers. The title of this thread was taken from one of the comments on the second article.

I think wood carving just might be the answer to living a longer life--at the least, a happier and better quality of life.

Ok by me--I have tools that are older than me and I expect they'll outlast me too. And the stash of wood should last me a while, too.
