Can anyone tell me about other wood carving magazines. I get two magazines at my local book store.. Thanks for any help :-)

the best is Wood Carving Illustrated, plus all their back issues available, and I get the Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts for ideas. I get the Wood Carving from the UK, it is expensive but it has a classical look that I enjoy.

And if you want to carve birds, Wildfowl Carving is a great quarterly carving magazine. But, Woodcarving Illustrated can't be beat!

I've never seen a copy of Chip Chats. That's likely because I cannot subscribe online and can't find an antique store to buy a stamp and envelope

The better your memory is, the sooner you'll be bored by a magazine. To me it seems they print the same articles over and over and over. Sure it's a different author's Five Minute Santa but it's still a 5 minute Santa...
