Default Carving hands

Does anyone know of any good books that demonstrate carving realistic looking hands? Have been looking around for a while but not seen anything. Cheers.

I found this one that might help. You could also have someone take photos of your hand(s) in the position you want, and then use the photos as patterns/guides.

If I remember right.....Harold Enlow said some thing to the effect "if you're carving hands and need a pattern, just take a gander at the ones on the ends of your arms".

And so I did, and I've been able to carve a good likeness or mine.

Hi Tony, If you go to this link Wood Carving Tools - Texas - The Old Texas Woodcarvers Shop, Tools, Books, Classes</span> you can watch a video on carving a hand along with one on a face, eye, ear. When you get to the site click on videos at the top part of the page. Those videos were a big help to me!
