Default Carving in Germany

Help please!

My wife and I are going to Germany in December to visit our son who lives in Dusseldorf. Since we will have 2 weeks for which to choose our itenerary, I would love to hear your suggestions of what carvers might enjoy seeing/experiencing. I'm aware that Dastra and Two Cherries tools are manufactured near D'dorf and I'll try to take a look. Other suggestions in the mid to southern part of Germany?

Thanks in advance,
Dr. Joe
