Default A carving flaw

A subtle but not so subtle mistake happen whan I carved this santa. After this picture was taken this mistake was corrected, and the carving sent off to a happy receptor.

Can anyone spot this carving flaw?

a hint: you can take the wood off but you cant put it back on!

Would this have to do with his fingers???

He is quite lovely, the client must have been thrilled.

I think he was living to close to three mile island. Y'know three eyed fish, six fingered santas etc...

Great repair job. I looked at the fingers when I first saw the photo on the gallery board and didn't notice anything weird...I think. Everyone has six fingers...right?

Beautiful Santa. I love the pointy shoes. It's also great to know that the best can still make mistakes like the rest of us.
