Default Carving in Clintonville

I got out of my usual "hermit" mode and went to join some carvers I'd heard meet at a local rec center. This was the first time I went to carve with a group of other people. They were carving all sorts of things - it was really nice! I wasn't there long today, but I can see I'll be able to learn lots from them! They were all very nice and welcoming, too.

Just thought I'd mention it here in case anyone else new to carving and timid like I am was considering joining a local group like this... I wish I'd done it sooner!

And, if any of you from Whetstone park are reading this - hello, and thanks for letting me join you this morning! I'll definitely be back!

Hey L,

You're lucky to have found a group of carver's. I live in a small town and there aren't any groups around here.

I bet it's fun to be around other people who enjoy knives and wood.

Have fun!!!

Loretta
