Default Carving Again

Hello Out There,
I have recently jumped back into the realm of hand carving and boy are my thumbs tired. I took somewhat of a 2 year break from the trade after the man who taught me moved away. Well, needless to say I fed off of his intelect and need more advice when it comes to carving. Basically what I'm needing are some plans maybe. ??? Iwould love to know if there were any shows coming through my neck of the woods. Does anyone have any good websites I could try? :-/

Â* Â* Â* Hey Elf

Â* Â* Â* Welcome back. It doesn't say were you are from but I
Â* Â* Â* probably wouldn't know it anyway.
Â* Â* Â* A good link to check out for shows is www.chipchats.com
Â* Â* Â* They list most of them. Oh and by the way i recommend
Â* Â* Â* getting a carving glove or your thumbs will have a bigger
Â* Â* Â* problem than just being sore.

Hi Elf-king
Not sure if there are any at the North Pole Â* sorry
but the true elf king could be Santa
This is a great site with really friendly carvers, just ask and you will have sources for your plans?? Â*
Oh NO, if this really is Santa does that mean no pocket knife under the tree.
Also try www.carvingpatterns.com

so I am a guest. Anyway i meant to put this link here for
you Elf King. There are some pretty decent patterns here
http://porchpatterns.tripod.com/. Now get back to carving.

Jimmo, I think I've figgered out the problem with being kicked off after logging in, or not being able to log in. Look at the lower right staus bar on your screen. If there is a small red circle with a white bar in it, that is the new Microsoft privacy 'preserver' If you'll click into that and then go to properties it will allow you to reset the privacy from 'cookies'. If you set that to 'low', it will let you access the log-in and stay logged on. I guess if you want more 'cookie' protection, when you log off, you'll have to go and raise the protection level to a higher value. Try that and see if it works.

Thanks Al, it's letting me stay in now. I am on Windows NT
so I had to go to tools and change the security level to low
but it seems to be working.

Â* Â* Welcome back to carving, Elf King and to this bullentin board. Â*It's true, you will definitely find lots of really good help here!
Â* Â* I must admit Michele, I didn't even think Santa when I read Elf King, I thought 'The Hobbit'. Â*Now, if you really are THE Elf King, Elf King, I have a couple suggestions for my Wish List also! Â* Callynne
