Default Carvers-r-us users please read

Dear fellow carvers,

Our PT album is getting full. 45.3 of 50mb are used leaving only 9% remaining. Not an emergency yet but it's time to make some choices. My thinking is 50mb holds a great number of images and I can't justify an upgrade.

I invite all users of the Carvers-R-Us Picturetrail site to voluntarily delete some of their older images (thanks Al ).

the steps to delete photos:

Log in: http://www.picturetrail.com/members/edit
username carvers-r-us , pswrd carve

edit options: left side of screen in blue

select edit an album

select the album that holds your images from the drop down and click continue

toward the top another dropdown 'select edit options'... select delete images

check the box next to the images you want to delete

then click at the top or bottom 'delete selected images'

Thanks for your consideration in this matter.

Dave

I don't see the need to take EVERYTHING off. Just some of the older stuff. A little from everyone will add up to a bunch.

Default Just cleaned up my pictures

Just went in and cleaned up the albums that had some of my old stuff in them I removed over 30 pictures and there are probably 30 more I should remove. Hope this has opened up some space for others. I agree with DaveE if we all went in and cleaned up some of our old stuff we would have more room. I didnt remove everything but I did remove some stuff that was two years old or better. If we all did a little it would help.
Colin

It was not my intention to start a mass exodus from the PT site... now I feel bad... :'( Now I say PLEASE don't delete ALL your photos... the reason it was started was so we could see eachothers work... lets keep that going.

Hey everyone,
Don't permently get rid of those photos. When we bring up the new message board, there is going to be a lot of space for you to put up photos. You can upload them from your computer and not have to worry about linking them with an existing site. It is on its way!

No problem here Dave or Bob, Most of mine had been there for a while except the bark carvings but I believe, They were there long enough for people to see what the little bride had done on her first carving. I agree on removal of older pictures so new ones can be added.
Thanks for reminding us Dave.
