Default Carved Snake Walking Stick

Just curious how the business of selling walking sticks has been going for those of you who make and sell walking sticks. I been seeing so much bad news on the television that I was thinking no one would have enough money to eat little on buy walking sticks, but my sales are up from last year.

The sales of the Carved Snake Walking sticks are up hugh from last year. I'm selling as many of these as I am the rest of my walking sticks and canes put together.

I guess it must be all that free money from the government kicking. I just hate that the kids and grandkids will be paying it back for the next 100 years.

What'da ya think about that?

I don't know what to think about the government bail outs, but I think your snake walking stick is mighty fine. But, for some one else, as snakes scare the 'H' outta me when I happen to come across one in the wild.

Used to be, when I was a kid and would go out in to the woods with my .22 rifle, no snake was safe. But then some one told me that if it wasn't for snakes, we'd be over run in rats.....so I guess snakes aren't so bad after all.....as long as they stay away from me.

Ditto on the next 100 years but I think it'll be a bit longer than that. Really nice work on the snake stick and glad that sales are up for you.

Stixman,
Amen and amen to the other comments. I don't like snakes myself, but I like the one you did here. Man I hope our kids ,kids, kids get er done in the next hundred years. I do have a question on your finish. Do you air brush, is paint or stain. Really like the lifelike detail.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

I posted a video on youtube of us killing a big black snake. From the comments that some people posted there, you would have thought I had murdered someone's kid. Wow!

Mark,

The colors are painted on the Carved Snake.

I use acrilic paint, then I apply several coats of poly.

Seems like everytime I paint a snake, it get's just a little bit easier.

Thanks,
