Default Carved Prayer Stick
Hi everyone,

As some of you know I've been making Talking Sticks that are wood burned and decorated. I decided to try doing a wood spirit Prayer Stick and I would sure appreciate your comments on this piece.

Nice carving Lindy, very nice indeed! I've heard and seen 'talking sticks' before, but never a 'Prayer Stick'...now I'll have to look it up as it sounds interesting. Again, very nice carving so thanks for sharing your wonderful creation with us. Safe carving to you!

I really enjoy this piece. Thanks so much for sharing it.

Just a little piece of advice. You can take those plain white bone beads you have and make small cuts and then soak them in either diluted black or brown paint to give the appearance of wear and tear. Many Native American artifacts are less than perfect because they look too new.
