Default Carved Lead Pencil

A few of you out there have told me to have a look at Dalton Ghetti's pencil carvings so i did what i told. I spent about 3-4 hours the other day flipping through all the different web pages to studying his intricate carvings. [Which I think are amazing]. Got up this morning and went huntting round the house for various types of pencils so i could have a go at carving some myself.

This hand was caved on a carpenters pencil it measure 7mm from tip of fingers down to the wrist and 5mm across the palm to the thumb.

Wow! That's great. Not many have the gift of being able to carve anything that small. I sure don't!

ha ! i had no doubt you would do AT LEAST as well as he does. no telling how much time he needs to create a keepsake like this, but i suspect you've got him beat there as well

Im glad you had confidence in me Luscher cus I didn't. I looked at a lot of pages about Ghetti but there was no mention about how long it takes him. Ive got another one to post tomorow which i think is better.

Awesome, awesome! Did not know the graphite in a pencil could withstand carving without snapping. Thanks for sharing.
