| | Carpenter Pencil Carving Contest The board is once again telling me to post something. Since I don't have much new going on (carving wise) I mainly lurk these days. I was browsing around this and other sites and just noticed that Congratulations are in order for Jim O, Hi Ho Sliver and the others for there winning carvings on the Woodcarvers E-zine Carpenter Pencil Carving Contest. WAY TO GO!!!!

| | Re: Carpenter Pencil Carving Contest Thanks Groozier,
The pencil carving contest was fun but I almost hyperventilated because I found myself holding my breath a lot while carving these things There doesn't seem to be quite as much wood as I would like surrounding the fragile lead. I thought the entries were of a good variety and well done.

| | Re: Carpenter Pencil Carving Contest Hi Bonnie,
I really don't think you want to see a picture of me hyperventilating ![004[1]1](http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/images/smilies/004[1]1.gif) Not sure I can copy a picture from WOM website and I neglected to take any pictures before I sent off the pencils. Maybe just go to woodcarving online magazine website and check them out.
