Default The Captains Website

for those of you who have been waiting breathlessly for my website ( Geez, get a life!) go to www.geocities.com/captainbandaids Â*. Please note: Geocities is gracious enough to host my website but exacts a toll in annoying pop-up advertising windows. I have no control over this and do not endorse these products!

Wow Cap'n, site looks great! I should have had Bran do mine (it's pretty weak) I was figuring it out myself and not doing a good job of it. Take a look if you like.

Nice Site Buddy, I knew you could do it. It must be fun knowing all your friends here are seeing your works of art. The one big mistake I made was to not take photos of all my old work from back in the 70s and 80s oh well I still have most of the friends that I gave the stuff to, maybe I can go back and start taking photos. Keep up the good posts.

Salty, visit www.anvilfire.com and check out the 'How to get started in Blacksmithing' then on to the 'Plans' to learn how to build a forge, then hit the 'iForge' for tutorials on how to make all kinds of stuff.
Lorax, thanks, your work is beautiful. Â*I have considered trying some religious work but my inability to do a realistic human face left me fearing that the face of Christ would look too much like a cartoon. Â*I have done a few Celtic Crosses that came out nice since they have no faces on them!
Butch, I still have most of my early work...can't give the stuff away!

Capt.
I did say I still have most of the friends, whether or not they still have my carvings is a different story.

Captain, your site looks great!
I loved the woodburnings and especially your carved clocks.
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Donna! Â*By the way, who is that bonehead on your posting box up there? Anyway, I LOVE that 'dillo you carved! I have downloaded a bunch of pictures, planning to carve one now for a long time. I may try to forge one out of 1/2' square iron rod and make a keychain out of it first, though!

Hehehehehe
That bonehead is a maple skull I carved a few years ago. :P :P
I just started playing with Paint Shop Pro and made my first animation!
I loved carving that armadillo, it is black walnut, almost burl. I carved this dog (Bull Terrier) out of some of the same tree, but it has a lot more burl in it.

Give it a minute, it is animated too
