Hi, Anyone going for the Canadian Wood Carving Championships being held at Hamilton On from the 29-31 Jan 2010. Am planning a visit on 30th Saturday, if I can figure out how to get there by public transport, or hitch a ride with someone from the forum who is also going for the show. There are GO buses to Hamilton City from Toronto, and then I have to figure out how to get to the venue near the airport. Any ideas? Hope to meet some of you out there. Cheers Ron |

Yep, heading down Saturday morning with a few friends. Its a good show. Excellent carving competition, lots of vendors and afterward you can check out the vintage aircraft. Its always good for a few hours on a cold winter's day.

I went down to the show Saturday morning. Saw some good prices on tools and machinery and the carving competition was wonderful. I had the bonus of being able to talk to one of the mechanics working on the Lancaster Bomber in the museum. Excellent day overall.
