Default Canadian International Wood Carvers Exhibition?
Good Day Everyone!

I recently purchased and read the book “Beginner’s Handbook of Carving” by Charles Beiderman. In it, it mentions the “Canadian International Wood Carvers Exhibition” in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Does anyone know when this exhibition occurs? I’ve done an exhaustive search on the Internet, but I can’t find ANY information on this exhibition.

Does anyone know anything about this? Or where I can go to find out more information? Perhaps the name has been changed to something else?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hello!

Attended a beginner's carving seminar on Saturday. The fellow who gave the seminar has been carving for a long time.

I asked him about the 'Canadian International Wood Carvers Exhibition.' He said that was discontinued a long, long time ago.

Apparently, it was amalgamated with the "International Woodcarvers Congress" that has been held in Davenport, Iowa ever since!

Thought the curious might like to know!
