| | Where can I find... I would expect this the right place to ask, with so many beautiful carvings being produced by the members.....where can I purchase a glass dome to protect a beautiful carving I recently recieved? I know I saw an advertizment somewhere lately, but can't for the life of me recall where. Can anyone help? I bought a nice side table to display the carving on, for in front of the living room window, and want to protect it from ........predators......cats and kids!

Just an opinion here, but, if they are not seal proof, dust will get inside of those glass domes. Had several for my daughters doll collection and finially had to seal each one. Maybe think abought building your own display case(s). |

| | Re: Where can I find... Thanks folks. Domes like at Little Shavers was what I was considering, but they don't come big enough. Might have to go to a hexigon shaped one, like they use for dolls. Plenty of suppliers online for those. Will have to keep in mind the fading/discoloration problem....didn't think of that. Thanks.

| | Re: Where can I find... Bob, I've bought a few off of ebay. I think the biggest one was 12" tall and maybe 8" in diameter. Try there.
