Default Campbell River Carving on the Beach

Hi Gang,
The Campbell River B.C. competition on the beach in Campbell River has just posted all the pictures for the 2003 Competition. As you may or may not know I didnt even place this year but then I didnt deserve to the carvings were out of this world. I always say let the best carving win and this year there was some extrodinary talent. If you would like to view the site it is www.crshorelinearts.com ( I sure wish I knew how you guys put that on so people can go directly to it).
My carving this year was in a piece of red cedar eight or nine feet tall and three feet in diameter. It was my rendition of 'Sitting Bull' head and shoulders. This site is well worth the look we have a blast every year I travel 4000 miles to go and would not miss it for the world. Enjoy the trip thru the web site.
Colin

Great site Colin, you're right, there is some terrific work there...including yours!! I just can't imagine working on such large pieces!! I loved the 'behind the scene pictures' too!
As for posting direct links, it used to be enough to just start it out with the www but for some reason that doesn't work for me anymore. I have to put the http:// in front of it, then it works. Like this http://www.crshorelinearts.com (we'll see if it works this time!) Thanks again for the great pictures, I can see where you'd have a ball there! Callynne
