Default Butter Tarts for Spoons

When ever I talk with my neighbor (the woodsman) he always mentions the wifes butter tarts. I told him I'd like to try some sumach and some butternut. A couple days later the wife phoned him and said she had a dozen butter tarts for him. He landed at my door with the wood I had asked for. Here's 2 spoons made from some of the wood he brought me.

Gorgeous Cliff! I don't know what a butter tart is either, but I bet I would eat them with great delight! Are they good with milk? Dang Cliff, tell us what they are!

Dang, I feel so sorry for you Yankees. Butter tarts are similar to a pecan pie, only they have walnuts and raisins in them and they are sweet as all get out.
Anyway, thanks for the comments on my newest spoons.

Buckcrazy, no this spoon is made from the sumach that has the red flowers, apparently it's OK from what I've red. Sure does have a nice grain when you get to carving it.. Thanks for the comments.
