hello: quite a pile of ornaments. I have made a lot of santa head ornaments but I like the look of these. Did you have a pattern form WCI or someplace else or just make them up? Thanks Jared

I just made them up. Just draw a 1/4 moon shape , cut them out on the band saw and start carving. Here is what they look like finished.
I have made over 3000 of these over the past 25 or 30 years.

3,000.... wow..!! I like this style of Santa too! They look good on the tree.

Thats alot of red/white paint... lol She does a great job painting on them!

Nice work Doug. At the Wichita Ks Caving show, there was a man who had lots of ornaments for sell and at a closer look, they were risen but he did state that they were from an original actual carvins. Hmmmm, Made in China. Went back through the show a couple of time ti see if I miss any thing but avoided his booth.
