Default Bust of a Woman

I haven't carved a woman's face in a very long time because my last try had poor results. Men are much easier if I mess up it just gives him character.
Here is my latest try not perfect but much better than the last attempt.
Basswood with a mixture of copper and gold metallic acrylic and an oak base.

She looks great a pretty female face is hard to get perfect, we can all aspire to do it like Ian Norbury.

Nice job Eric. I struggle with female faces too, seems most of us do. This one is good.

Thank you all very much.
Glade to hear I am not the only one that has trouble with the female face. I am please with this carving but can see things that I would have liked to have done differently. More practice, practice, practice.
