why not use a photo of a trophy do a google image search,

i would guess your wanting a side view??

Master procrastinator! Lol. Love it. Thank you for the advice and the thumbnail! I'm very new to carving and don't know if I could draw one out to go by. I hadn't thought of that though. I will give that some thought.

In Issue 10 of the "other" carving magazine, there was a pattern of the "Friday Night Beer Frame Split Picker". The pattern and carving were made by "Ol' Don" Burgdorf.

Below are some links to the "other" magazine, where you can get a back issue of the magazine and it should come with a pattern sheet; and to the Art of "Ol' Don" Burgdorf website, where you can order a group of sports patterns, i.e. "Satisfying Sports", for caricature carvings including the bowler.

I think the magazine would be the cheaper way to go. But you can see a good image of the bowler at the"Ol' Don" website.

Sue find the graphic you want, decide how big you want it, email it to the email address in my signature block and ill see if i can make you a reasonable pattern ...

Many years ago, I was on a bowling team, we won....................last place! ha ha Our trophy was a little guy with his hand stuck in the bowling ball! Would make a great carving!
