Ed that is the reverse of what i get when i use woodfiller, which stains light. I guess no staining medium for errors. I'm thinking just to stick with the white glue and sawdust mix. It seems my mishap is never in a hidden place always front and center and staining accentuates my mistake. Almost better to leave the error ala natuaral or else try to carve perfect.
