Default Blockheads

These are two projects from Steve Prescott's book "Carving Blockheads" They are both from the same pattern. In fact he has 50 variations from the same pattern. The larger one is full size about 7" tall and the Leprechaun is 78% of that. The larger one I did quite awhile back the Leprechaun I just did it still needs a four leaf clover in his hand

Those look good. I have enjoyed carving several variations from the book and found they sell well. My avitar is a self portrait I did several years ago shrinking the pattern to fit a two inch thick piece of basswood. I like both of ours and their faces show lots of character..
