Default Blind man with a chainsaw (Check this out)

Hi Gang,
Well I am back from West Virginia safe and sound after 10 hours of straight driving. As some of you know I went to Ashby's last weekend to meet with friends and to finally meet Ron Davidson. First let me say that you really missed out by not coming. Secondly Garry (Ash) and his family were the best hosts in the whole wide world. Hospitality is spoken no better than it was in WV this weekend. I am so happy that I took the pilgrimage to WV to take it all in. Next let me comment on a man who as far as I am concerned is not disabled or handicapped and never will be. I had the privilege of spending the entire weekend with Ron Davidson and his companion Lou. This man has a better attitude than anyone I have ever met and it is an absolute privilege to call him my friend. To show you what drive and determination this man has I have included a few pictures. When I got there he wanted me to teach him how to chainsaw carve. Yes people Ron is completely blind he has no sight at all. Check this out the man not only tried but completed a woodspirit with a chainsaw. When I told him how proud I was with him his answer was and I quote " I had a great teacher". Hell no Ron I am not a great teacher you are just a great human being and sir I had a blast. Again thankyou Garry and your beautiful family for putting all this together I know that one day I will be back to WV to visit again.
Colin

I just got a phone call from Ron...He's not ignoring everyone, but his computer took a dump! It won't be fixed until Sunday at the earliest!

Colin , Ron , Susan , Goody , Anna , Bob , Steph, Mike

I can only say this to you all, it is not often that you get a chance to spend time with the talented people me and my family were blessed to enjoy. We came together as friends that had never met , we left as brothers and sisters. The sheer amazement that Ron gives to others is beyond anything I could have ever dreamed. I am only sorry not all of my family was here to see, learn and get the insite to a world that we can only try to understand.

Ron , not only cut the tree, the cuts were perfect, The chips released with percise clean cuts. To say this man is incredable is not saying enough. That said , I can not tell you how much I missed you both when you had to leave. I have already started planning for next year, when we can get together again. Somewhere in between so the distance is equal and no one has a extra long trip.

So much took place I can not even start to tell you all. I will say that you all became a part of my family.

Colin, Mike told me to post his pig , and the kangaroo . ( wink) Ron and I talk everyday now , I have set time aside so we can both start our day.

Garry and all your family, all of us can't thank you enough for pulling this all together. Ron and Lou were absolulty amazing. I could not believe the teamwork between them two. To watch him carve was unbelievable. Got an idea, actually it was Sue's idea just a little different. I will talk to you about it off line.
Thanks again for putting up with us all over the weekend,
Harold & Anna
