Default Beginner competitions

G'day
Thsi is new to me but I was wondering if there were any Canadian competitions and if not what other competitions are out there. Appreciate the info.

Welcome to the forum, Errol!
If you look over on the left side of the screen, there is a link to Calendar of Events in WCI Community. This will give you some info. There is another link there for Carving Clubs. Look through the list and see if any are near you. If they are relatively close, look at their web sites - many sponsor contests, and most of the competitions are segmented into beginner, intermediate, and open (advanced), or similar names.
