Default Bearded Man

7.50" x7.50" x1.0" Basswood, finished with BLO, Acrylic Paint, and Watco Dark Wax.
This is my first carving since I messed up my Shoulder. It was torn a little ,but I got it back with exercise. I have 3 more to do by Christmas, I might have just enough time Ha,Ha. Merle

Doesn't look like you forgot how to carve! Glad you're able to get back to carving....it really eats at me when I can't whittle on something!

Great carving! I love how all the lines flow in gentle curves, from the profile of the face to his hair and beard.

Very nice carving, Merle. Happy to hear your able to resume your carving, I always get a ' somethings missing' feeling when I don't carve for awhile.
