Default bear cane topper

Hi all I've been doing little fun relaxing projects, this little topper is one of them. It's not finished I have a little cleaning up to do and I haven't decided wether to pain or stain it. Hope you enjoy.

Looks great Feb! What kind of wood will you mount it to to make the cane? Look forward to seeing it finished!

Neat carving! I think if you do paint, maybe just the eyes, nose and tongue? I'm more into just staining it though.
