Default Bear cane finished

Well the cane is finished. Iused burnt umber oil paint mixed with oderless mineral spirits for the base stain thenused acrylic paints for the rest. Iused a hickery stick for the bottomit didn't come out as dark as the top. I also wrapped the under part of the top with string I had layin around. one of the guys at my club showed me how to tie that butchers not. Hope you enjoy.

Hi Feb, great looking Bear cane!
The string helps set it off! I like the happy look!

Great work on your Bear cane feb.
Happy little guy isn't he? Looks like he's lickin' the honey from his chops.
Being an ol' butcher, I can say that string won't be coming loose any time soon.
