Default bark wood carving

what is the best way to hang a wood spirit on the wall,i use a finishing nail.due to the soft texture of the bark i dont think a hook is recommended.any of your great advice wood be appreciated.thank you!!!!!

I use finishing nails and I have also used a hook that you screw into the back of the carving ( like what you would use to hang a picture ) then hang it on the finishing nail that you put into the wall. Or drill a hole on an angel into the back of the carving then hang it on the finishing nail. Like you said the material you carve is not all that heavy. Good luck

drill a hole at an angle or use saw tooth hooks. Use glue to fortify them where the nails go in. Have several that have hung for 10 years without a problem.
