Could someone give me a site where I could buy bark to carve,never carved bark and would like to try it. thanks Skip.

Ebay has it once in a while. Just search under Cottonwood Bark. Here's one below.

COTTONWOOD BARK FOR WOOD SPIRIT CARVING - eBay (item 160291808582 end time Oct-24-08 18:00:00 PDT)

That's where I seen the best deals. Other than that Treeline sells it and I have also seen a couple of guys on here who sell it.

Just get a hold of Art Oliver he has an acount on ehre someplace that or get a hold of Rick Jensen I buy bark from rick all the time when I can't or don't have time to get it myself. I will look for Rick's number for ya I have it here somewhere.

Try Chipping Away Dedicated to Wood Carvers , great store, good people. They also have books and video on Bark Carving.
