Default Ballerina

I'm trying to find a ballerina pattern. I searched here but I was looking more for a Caricature type thing. Anyone has any suggestions? I have look at various places for pics of ballerina, but i'm a begginer and I can't translate what I see to a piece of wood yet. Any help would be appreciated.

There have been several carved ballerinas shown in the forum, most by Doug Ridley... Go up to the "Search" on the green line above, click on it, then enter ballerina and you'll find all of them.

Have you tried the Carver's Companion Ezine at The Carvers' Companion ?

They have all their old issues in their archives and starting in November 1999 Ol' Don Burgdorf has had one of his patterns. It seems to me I remember seeing a female ballerina or a dancer of his either there or some place on the web.

Thanks Claude...I did see the ballerina he did, but I was looking for something more detailed or cartoonish..........if thats a word........

I guess I will have to try and design my own pattern.....There is someone special to me who keeps asking for her ballerina......As I have stated i'm a beginner(a month and a half carving). And I made a mistake and showed her my first few pieces and now she wants her ballerina......if she only knew how long it took me to do the ones I finished.........

I came across a "Ballet Dancer" the other day with a 360 degree view and thought you may find it handy for your project.
