Default Bad Dog

Well have you ever gone to school and told the teacher-THE DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK-I had cowboy almost done working on detail around boots. Bring in carving at nite just to show wife I did do something, got up this morning let the DOG out & in got cup coffee. Went down hall to play on computer, heard some cracking noise, yea she got it off table. Chaps are gone with most of the legs. If she wasn't such a great squirrel dog and I love that BAD DOG so much,at times it seems like the kids are back!!!!!

When my Bassett was 1 year old, I had just taken up carving and brought my first piece home from class. It was a Dolphin and I was proud of the way it looked, I showed it to my wife and set it on the table, Yep you guessed it; the dog got it and all I had left was a pile of splinters.

it's amazing i haven't lost any, usually the cat knocks something over or down(maybe she's just handing it to the dog) but so far nothing as bad as your whole carving, usually it's add on stuff that the dog ends up with. hate to hear it happened..if i was a betting man,i bet it won't happen again though..

Make a scene where the legs don't show(cut the chewed parts off) like in a mud puddle. Title it, "I,m stuck and can't get out"!

Some good suggestions. I got the point across, just show whats left to her,she takes off with head tucked with tail between llegs. Can save top part and the head and hat weren't glued on. Cut arms off,to make bust I hope.

Years ago I bought a new puppy. She chewed the end of my hair brush off. I kept using the brush in spite of the small amount of damage. The puppy grew up and became the best friend I every had. She died after 13 years of wonderful companionship. I still use that hair brush today and when I do, and see the puppy teeth marks, I think of her and remember the good times we shared. It has become a keepsake. - David
