Default baby bird in a bag number 2

My wife just finished her 'baby bird in a bag' No.2, its in picturetrail in 'fowl album' lol! She likes to 'rush' around and get one of these done every year or so! LOL

Nice Duck, Dave, and the baby birds are really a cute idea, and well done! Are they (baby birdes) carved from wooden eggs, or from a block?

Al...the baby bird is carved from a basswood egg, and Nancy, no I haven't seen the decoy forum...have been on the birdcarvers online forum...is that the same?

It's one of those places you have to register to even see the photos but it's free, fast and easy.....and well worth it. You know I've never carved a duck but collect them --- this is one of my very favorite sites on the 'net.
You can post a photo and ask for criticism and some real experts will steer you in the right direction.
