Default Arnold Carving of Me

This is how this carving came about?

At the Char.NC wood carvers show,I was taken my little dog out but my hotel card wouldnt open the back door,so I walked through the main lobby out the front door, course there was alot of wood carvers and their wives out there and sitting in the lobby.Me in my plaid jamer bottems, plaid shirt, plaid cap and no socks plus wearing my old shoes.

Mr.Arnold must have took a picture of me that night in his mind then carved this carving of me,even the clover on my hat,the carving's hat has that clover too. Hes going in a glass case. We still laugh till we cry at this carving. What a talent'd gentleman you are with your creative carving abilities.

Thank you again so much.Forrest

Forest how cool, and you are very deserving and a caricature you were. I do that all the time, looking at people and noticing how there dressed , now if i could just put it to wood..The 4th picture with the old man and the cabin on the wall . Whats the story behind that, did you carve it?? Very Cool. Once again Congrats my Friend!!

What a great carving to have Forrest, and your work on the walls is really great too.

Forest, it's obvious to everyone here on the forum, that you've got lots of character. How neat that Arnold was able to capture a moment of your character in that carving. What a great carving, it's a neat gift for sure.
