| Did anyone partake of Fox Chapel's Alan's Scratch and Dent Sale? I was a little disappointed at first because by the time I opened the email annoucement for the sale it was Saturday and Fox Chapel doesn't man their phones, (not one itsy bitsy single operator), over the weekend so there was no one there to take my order. Then I tried the on-line do-it-your-self method but this old-fashion dirty old man doesn't put his credit card number on the internet (yes, I know that it's stupid and that it's already out there in a hundred thousand locations from other sources... but not from my doing!). So I picked the two books that I wanted and sent an email to Fox Chapel with instructions that if they still had the two books on Monday to call me and I'd place an order for them over the phone. Monday came and no one called so I gave up on them. Late Tuesday afternoon as I was cutting blanks out in the shed my wife came and got me and said that she had found a message on our answering machine from Fox Chapel left earlier in the day with an invoice number and if I still wanted the books to call with our credit card number. So I gave them a jingle and now the books should be here in a week or so...... A hearty and well deserved thank you to Fox Chapel for their courtesy and cooperation, not to mention a great deal! One of the books was not my first choice. My first choice had been sold out but I still bascially got two books for the price of one!Thumbs Up

Hi Eddy, I know the phone was literally ringing off the hook Monday...so I'm sure the customer service people got back to you as soon as they could. Thanks for your patience! Bob |
