Default To Antique or Not To Antique

Here is my third pumpkin. After carving it and looking at all three I thought they might look better if I antiqued them...so that's what I did. I would like your opinions on whether or not you think that was a good idea. I've included photos of the first two pumpkins before they were antiqued to use as a comparison. Thanks.

Bob I think they boyh look very good but I kinda like them without but then what the heck do I know I have never carved one.
