Default Another Shelf Whatnot.

Another piece of Back Yard scarp White Pine. Finished Watco Dark Wax and Polyu. Kind of a Pityful looking fellow, but puts a on my Face. That makes it worth the effort. Merle

Hey Merle, if it makes you happy, so be it. I sure don't see anything wrong with it at all. I guess that's the reason we all do what we do, to get some of them smiles.

He's got a neat look Merle. Lots of waves throughout the whiskers and hair...and those puppy dog eyes make's him even more interesting. Nicely done.

Nice job, Merle. I love keeping scrapes from the dust bin at the club to see if there is any life in a little piece. I have buckets full of pieces in my shop waiting to be explored. I also have buckets of old chair parts and stairway spindles - go some great wood out of a Sears catalogue house they were going to tear down. Some great grain. I also have some really neat cottonwood bark from a lightening struck tree - burned and with lichen regrown over the burn. Some good things some day. Keep whittlin', carvin', designing or styling or whatever.... Let the chips fly.

God Bless

John/ K Karver
