She looks really good to me, unfortunately, the lighting leaves a bit to be desired but on the whole it looks mighty fine. Good job of carving. Cliff |

I posted here yesterday but it didn't show up!?? Here goes again. She has a very nice profile...difficult to see the facial features from the photo. The wood looks very rich looking. What is the wood and what did you treat it with. The hair must have taken you some time - well worth it though. Patrick |

Thanks guys appreciate the the compliments. I did some new pictures, i think they should be better. The wood is basswood with walnut NGR stain and satin clear topcoat. Skip

Wow Skip that really came out nice. Yesterday I finished my first attempt at a female bust ( "Leah") from an Enlow book and I now have a transvestite to add to my collection. I sure admire you carvers that do such realistic work

Hi Skip, very nice carving. She must be very small,how tall is the carving. I prefer a natural soft wood finish as against gloss, but each to his own. Great job, Regards, Schaf |
