Default Another bark question

I found some pretty decent cottonwood bark however their is a LOT of bright green moss on it....it really gives it a nice look.

Does anyone know if it will stay on after it dries or will it fall off??

I know people will ask me when they go to buy one!

Greg

if your bark has moss on it the moss will probably die and dry up and fall off.if however its licen which is a green fungus that will grow on trees it probably will not.

Greg,
Some of the pieces I have carved also have green moss on them although it isnt very thick. I find that people like that down to earth look and it is quite effective. I would imagine that as Frank says if its too thick it will break off but if its not and you are able to cover it with the polycrylic like I use it will stay on.
Colin
