Default Animal staff

Just finished a walking staff. This staff is going to a man , that has a bone spur that went through his achilies Tendon. I showed the last spirit on the staff, which in my opinion, is the best wood spirit/wizard I have done to date. I hope you all agree.
The staff is 48 inches tall has 2 spirits and 3 animal faces on it. An antilope, a bear and a cougar.

I only posted the last woodspirit in the gallery as I did not want to remove Jim's Carvings which were just posted . Nice work Jim.

Only posted the last of the wood spirits Colin. Because , to post more would have move Jim's pic over in the Gallery . Opps now it's in canes.
Should show it. His beard wraps around the cane, so you really can't see it , but I tried something on the bear and it worked so well i did it to his bread. His beard is 12 inches long and silver tipped highlight. Worked out really well.

Thank you Susan!
The next staff is to be more celtic/ fantasy everything except the final spirit will be your patterns.

The cougar is as good as the bear maybe better but because of the roll of the staff , it is impossible to get a good photo. Shame someone has not made 3 D camera's. Both your patterns were reduced down The bear is 1.5 inches tall and 3/4 inches round, the cougar is a bit smaller. The photos are larger than the real carvings.
