We didn't have really good attendance this year. The weather was really nice so that might have had some folk busy in their yards, but the main thing was that we always pick the weekend of a large craft show in another room of our Civic Center to get a lot of drop in traffic from, and for some reason that show didn't materialize. This left us as the only activity going on downtown that weekend and there was zero incidential traffic. We don't charge admission and sell raffle tickets to pay for the rent on the room (which in my opinion is astronomical considering it is a munincipal building). I think we came close to breaking even, so we are ok on the finances. We just can't get much interest in woodcarving here in our area, and aren't close to any other major population centers closer than 2 hours drive, so we just putter along the best we can. We had tons of fun though, and we had about 36 tables with a maximum of two exhibitors per table, so around 50 carvers participated. I hope to go to some of the shows in the middle part of the country next year cause I enjoyed this one so much.

Well thank you for all the pics, it looked like a good show. It may be the economy thats holding people away from all the shows. With Christmas coming, there will be more activity, and hopefully, any shows of this type will be mobed with people. Thanks again. fred k
