Going to my first woodcarving show here in a couple weeks in Omaha. Thanks to Bill in Omaha for the info. Very excited about it... several good vendors will be there such as Moore Rough Outs, Woodcraft Shop and another wood dealer and my wife has already ponied up the check book... ha ha. Really looking forward to it! I have thought about joining the club that hosts this show but kind of bashful about that Corey

Corey, you'd be a good contributor to any woodcarving club. If Heinecke's are selling their basswood at that show, get some if you haven't already. Mike

Hi Corey, Great news about the show! They are such fun and it is always much better to see what you are buying before you buy it, tool wise, book wise, wood, etc.......and the new friends you will make!!! But Corey, join the club! There is nothing like it. Don't be shy. You have a lot to offer and they have a lot to offer you. You can take it slow as far as involvement but eventually, you will be one of the "old guard" who is mentoring new comers.... please go for it. |

Hey Corey, you bashful, no way. You're a good carver and they'll be happy to have you. I know we are happy you're here.

You will enjoy the show, they are always fun and a great place to meet other carvers. Don't be bashful about joining, you have a lot to contribute to the board here and I am sure will be the same with the club.

Thanks looking forward to the show. Mike I buy my wood from Heinikee now. Another dealer will be there I think. I am thinking about the club. Maybe I will talk to some folks from the club while I am there. Thanks! Corey
