Default Allow me to introduce myself.

Hello everyone. I am new to WI and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Kelby Harrell and I live in Emporia, KS. My father is Cottonwood on this message board if you are familiar with him. I have carved off and on for several years but now want to devote more time to it. I just finished a Mike Shipeley bear from one of his roughouts. It is the one with the blue overalls. The other bear is unfinished but is one I did from scratch. ( I did the original drawing first.) I carved him back in the late 90s. I would welcome your comments. More carvings are on the way. I am finishing a bear from a roughout I got at the woodcarving rendezvous in branson over ten years ago. It has been sitting in a box since then. I thought it would be a good idea to bring it to life now. Happy Carving.

Welcome aboard firecracker, like your bears a lot. The apple didn't far from Millards' tree! Look forward to seeing your carvings.

Welcome to the forum Kelby, Great job on the bears! You are very fortunate to have Millard as your dad, he is an awesome carver / teacher.

Welcome aboard, Son! You will find a great bunch of people here.
Hey, I like your bear(s)! However, It's not really fair for you to be carving without the benefit of a rough out so early in your carving career!
