Default Allen Goodman's DVD "Carving a Walking Stick"
Just finished watching the DVD that Allen made on carving a walking stick.I have to say it is a "10" great tutorial,and very good instructions to take you from a stick to a very good woodspirit walking stick.Allen has a very unique way to carve a eye and he goes over that.They are availabe through Smokey Mountain Woodcarvers and are worth every penny.

yep watched my copy last night and i will say it is a "10" also. great instruction and reference,mark is right he does have his own style of woodspirit and it is a good one. i recomend it to everyone also.

Those things were selling faster than he could get them out on the table on Saturday. Hope to pick one up when I am down there in March. I'm sure he would be happy to fill some orders if you pick up the phone and call him!

I took Allen's Caricature Bear Class weekend before last and we had a great time and I came out with a finished carving. I attached a photo of my finished carving.
