Glad to see that I am not the only one left in the honey-do club. Just finished building a 22x30 covered parking, which now needs to be painted. Got the roofs and gutters cleaned and can't see the end of my list yet in addition to working ten hour days. Carving seems to take a back seat this time of year. I wouldn't mind being forced out into the sun if I had a golf club in my hand. I vote we disband the honey-do club for a lack of interest and reorganize into something that represents our true interests ( tall necks, a good cigar, and a stroll across the back nine).
Cheers
Ric

Working outdoors and in the house. Not much time for anything else. Still setting up a small workshop for woodcarving and such. Sure will be glad to get all the outdoor work done as it finally stopped raining here. Everybody has the 'bandsaw' virus! Mine is like the one Sears sells and 9' only it's a Delta 9'. Cut most anything I need to cut with it. Have an interesting day to all. Jim

Hello All,

Well it has been rather nice weather around here until the last week. I have been helping my beautiful bride get the house cleaned up after a winter of just letting it be...LOL! I am probably a few hours away from finishing the carving part of my first Santa! I am quite happy with the way it is turning out. Beautiful Bride says she will help me set up a picture sharing sight....Looked into the picture trail thing and found out they were going to go to subscription or 'pay' only and I am to cheap to pay to display my meager attempts at carving at this point...any suggestions on maybe finding a way to setup a website(inexpensive...free would be best). So as soon as I finish the carving part and get some digital pics done I will post it somewhere somehow and let you fine people and may I say friends know where to go see them.

Anyhow spring has sprung here and I must start planning for yard work and still have time to relax and carve.

I just got back from our Easter break vacation in Florida. It's my big chance to carve. I started on my love spoons for Christmas gifts; completed 5 and got most of a squirrel done. Springtime is honey-do heaven, with yard work and other fix-up/clean-up.

I think this website will post your pictures for free? You could take a look at it if you want. I joined it and no one has asked for a fee so far. The address is:

Hope this helps? Jim
