I'm late again because of the move... but my interest in this topic is strangely compelling. I don't want to think that my previously mentioned "guilt" would have any bearing on my work. That using power tools or repairing a carving after a mistake could offer any viewer the opportunity to critique what I personally have enjoyed producing.
I carve wood for myown pleasure... not for judges nor spectators. If anyone inspected my works for the methods I've used in completing it... they have the right to their opinion... but no person do I give the right to decide what, how, where or when I accomplish myown pleasures.
