Default 24hr Madness

It is that time of year again for us folks in Melbourne. A competition called Arts Blitz which I entered for the first time last year. We receive a theme on Friday afternoon at 5:00pm and must produce an art piece by 5:00pm the following day. As I am a carver, I naturally enter the 3D component and found it very challenging to create a new piece from start to finish based on an unknown theme in twenty-four hours. Challenging and fun!!!! I suppose such competitions are nothing new to the chainsaw carvers who create on the spot in front of spectators, but I do not carve solely with a chainsaw and prefer the smooth, polished look, so wish me luck and I will show some pics afterward. Joe.

Yeah Buddy, it is interesting, especially seeing everyone else's interpretation of the theme. Thanks for stopping by.
