Default 2005 Int. Carvers Conference
Is anyone planning on going to the International Carver's Conference in Kitchener Ont. this year?

I was there last year and it was fantastic.

Chris unfortunatly I am committed to do the Sudbury Wood show that weekend so I wont be there this year. I went last year and really enjoyed all of those seminars.

Hey Colin, you will be in OG country at this show, better watch out someone might tap you on your shoulder and say "BOO!" when it's least expected, I'd better make that "when your chainsaw is not at work" .Smile

Actually, we're not going to be there this year. We try to mix up the shows we go to so we can get out to see more people. We're going to the Artistry in Wood Show in Dayton, and we went to several scroll saw shows this summer, so we decided not to go to the show at Chipping Away.

I can't complain, though...my wife's birthday is right around the same time as that show--last year I was in Canada for her birthday, which didn't go over well...

Dayton is Nov. 12-13. I'll be presenting the Wood Carver of the Year award to Wayne Barton at the banquet.
